Run Goddess Genuine Review & Beginner’s Guide

After a period of dormancy, Top Games Inc. finally launched a new mobile game in 2025 – “Run! Goddess”. The overall style of this game is manga/anime, which the company has never touched before, and it gives people a refreshing feeling from character design to gameplay. The author will record a real review based on experience, and give a guide that may be helpful to novices (including various gameplay and features involved in advancing the core line).
I was attracted by Run Goddess’s ads at first. Every time I saw similar ads, I thought they were scams. I didn’t expect that there was such a way to play, which surprised me. After entering the game, I found that the early storytelling and novice guidance of Run Goddess are very clear, and the animation effect is also good. It revolves around saving a comrade (Valkyrie – Aurora) and entering the core stages. Only after clearing the first 5 chapters can the rescue mission be completed. In this process, the game will gradually unlock some new dungeons, features, and events (such as gacha and limited-time sprints) to help players improve their combat capabilities and enrich the game experience.

  1. Cedar Island

      Unlock the ‘Valkyrie Recruitment‘ feature after clearing the level. The novice guide will remind you:
    “Master, more infected are appearing. We need more Valkyries!”
  • 1-4 Thunder City
  • 1-5 Redwood Park
      The villain Doctor appears for the second time, and a big boss will appear at this level.
      Clear the 1-5, and then you can receive the 1st Dr. G’s antidote and unlock Idle Rewards.

  1. Raven Dock

      After clearing, the Limited-Time Pack will open. Log in for 3 days to get UR Valkyrie – Diva and Blazing Sprite for free.
      The Blazing Sprite is a golden excellent weapon that the Dawn Bringer can equip.
  • 2-4 Silent Farm
      Pass the stage to unlock the ‘Skills‘ feature. Through the feature, you can use the Skill Ticket to draw skills, and then, upgrade skills, and equip them. Quick equip and upgrade buttons can save you a lot of time and energy.
  • 2-5 Death Valley
  • 2-6 Juniper Outpost
      Unlock the ‘Dimensional Corridor‘, which you can climb to higher levels through challenges, and get level rewards and progress rewards. By participating in the dungeon, you have a chance to get SP Valkyrie Yunai’s Shard * 10.
      Also, you can unlock the ‘Armory Box Upgrade‘ function and upgrade your armory box to increase the probability of drawing equipment of higher quality.
      At the same time, the ‘3200 Draws‘ event will appear in the event center. You can get 3200 Skill Tickets in total when you clear certain levels during the event.

      You can open the ‘Intercept Supply Battle‘ after clearing the stage, and you can enter it from ‘Raids’. The novice guide will remind you:

  1. Base No. 9

  • 5-1 Silverwing Bridge
After clearing the game, you will unlock the Freedom Arena feature, where you can get rich rewards by completing challenges, such as Spiral Drill, Speedup, and Cross Laser Cannon.
The Spiral Drill can be used in the Citrine Miner to remove 1 durability from the selected plot.
The Cross Laser Cannon can be used in the Citrine Miner to pierce through a cross-shaped area of plots.

Clear the level to unlock the ‘Alliance‘ function.
There are features of the alliance store, info, manage, and members here.
Join an alliance, and you will receive alliance gifts when your allies purchase packs. You can also donate to earn alliance contribution points, alliance EXP, Honor Coin, and speedup.
The Honor Coin can be used to redeem rare items in your alliance store.

After clearing 5-15, you can get the last Dr. G’s antidote, and then you can rescue Aurora and turn her into your Valkyrie.
Besides, the ‘Hangar‘ feature will be available. You can upgrade and modify your ‘Tank‘ here.
Also, after this stage, the 4th skill slot, Survival Trials, SP Valkyrie event (Run Goddess gacha system), and the ‘Hall of Fame‘ will open. You can claim rewards, 100 gems, and the Avatar Frame – Heartfelt Token in it.

Features in Camp

  1. Recruit Valkyrie
Clear chapter Lanny Ranch (1-3) to unlock the building.
  1. Data Center
It is a manual for all monsters and bosses.
The monsters and bosses you encounter at all stages will be collected here, and you can get gem rewards after unlocking them.
You can get 10 gems for each monster unlocked, and 50 gems for each boss unlocked.
You can unlock all monsters and bosses after completing the first 5 chapters.
  1. Hangar
Include Tank and Drone.
Unlock the Tank after 2 days of server opening and clear stage 5-16.
Unlock the Drone after 6 days of server opening, and Dawn Bringer reaches level 50.
  1. Collection System
Unlock after 4 days of server opening and clear stage 9-15.
  1. Draw Skills
Consume skill tickets to draw skills. You can clear stage 2-4 to unlock the feature.

Sub-gameplay or Dungeons

  1. Corridor
In my view, the Dimensional Corridor is a dungeon similar to a tower-climbing game, where you climb up by clearing levels. Sometimes, Dimensional Competition is open, where you can compete with other players to determine your rank and get corresponding rewards.
  1. Raids
There are currently 7 raid dungeons open in the game, each with different gameplay and obtainable items. This allows us to have different attempts while advancing the main storyline. Fortunately, these attempts are closely related to the mainline, and all the available rewards are essential items for the core gameplay.
  1. Arena
This mode is not about killing monsters, but a PvP mode. You can directly fight against players of different lineups in 5v5. Through this gameplay, you can experience the actual combat effect of the lineup composed of different Valkyries.
  1. Cirion Miner
This is a casual dungeon that does not involve attack and defense. We can mine and research technology in this dungeon.
Based on a few days of experience, I reckon the dungeons in Run Goddess are interesting and harmonious, and they are not disconnected from the core gameplay. And through these gameplays, you can strengthen your connection with other players, because some dungeons require a team to enter.

To put it in a nutshell, my journey in Run Goddess is fabulous and full of surprises. While I thought it was just a casual game of running and monster-killing, it gradually revealed something different to me. I’m now playing the game for more than just the gameplay that attracted me to download it in the first place. Instead, I want to have a deeper understanding of the synergies between different Valkyries and enjoy the communication and competition with other players.
